How Are We Doing?

In the New York State Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan, 45 main goals have been listed as priorities in controlling cancer in New York State. Spanning the nine goal areas of Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, Early Detection, Treatment, Quality of Life, Palliative Care, Health Personnel, Research, Data and Surveillance, and Public Policy, these goals are addressed through a number of recommended strategies.
