Western NY Cancer Coalition (WNYCC)

About Us

Launched on May 2, 2008, the Western NY Cancer Coalition is made up of organizations and individuals from the Seneca Nation of Indians and eight counties, including: Erie, Niagara, Wyoming, Genesee, Orleans, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua and Allegany. Focusing on the cancr burden specific to these areas, WNY has members from physicians to representatives from health insurance companies, from public health officials to cancer survivors. This is a project-oriented group, focusing on activities within four of the nine goal areas from the NYSCCCP identified as being of most need: Health Promotion, Early Detection, Policy/Access to Care, and Research.
