Toolkit

The NYSCC Toolkit is an interactive compilation created to aid New York State Cancer Consortium members, organizations, and others interested in cancer control in addressing the cancer burden in their areas. Using the input of Consortium members, organizations and partners, this toolkit has been amassed to provide introductory information on each area of cancer control planning, as well as on the Consortium itself.

The toolkit is by no means, a comprehensive document, but a starting point. Users will be introduced to each area of cancer planning, including: finding and using cancer related data, finding and using evidence-based initiatives, measuring progress in cancer control, grants, comprehensive cancer control related trainings, advocacy as a cancer control tool, and media and social marketing of cancer control. Each of these sections includes a brief initiation to the topic and links where the user can find more information. If applicable, contact information has been provided for the user.
